Junior SmallBore Rifle

The Miami Rifle & Pistol Club is host to a junior shooting program. The purpose of this program is to provide a safe and fun environment for all junior shooters. The program teaches responsibility, safe gun handling and supports setting goals in climbing the ranks in marksmanship in NRA sanctioned programs.

Members of the Miami Rifle & Pistol Club conduct the program every Tuesday evening beginning in late May through August at 6:00 pm. Check the Calendar for start and end dates. Juniors between the ages of 13 and 20 years of age can participate. It is not required that you be a member of the Miami Rifle & Pistol Club. This program is open to the community.

This program provides safety training to all participants. This program enhances character and personal growth though safe, educational involvement in shooting activities. Promotes the highest standards of safety, sportsmanship and ethical behavior. .22 caliber firearms, ammunition and targets are provided.  Ear and eye protection is required for anyone on the firing line.
