The weather was warm and sunny for the CMP 80-rd Across-the-Course Match held on July 5. Although we experienced a few sprinkles, the rain predicted for the day occurred elsewhere leaving us with a dry match. Fourteen true patriots came out for the match to exercise their Second Amendment rights in celebration of the Fourth of July weekend.
The Match Winner was High Master Eli Graff, with a 789-35X. Folks are going to have to bring their A game if they wish to keep Eli out of the winner’s circle. 1st Place in the Master’s classification was Rylee Greer with a 788-34X. I do not expect that Rylee will be terrorizing the Master class for very much longer. It’s likely that she will soon join Eli as a High Master. 1st Place in the combined Expert/Sharpshooter/Marksman classes was Adam Graff with a 755-19X.
Eli and Rylee are both members of the MRPC Junior High Power Rifle Program. Our junior’s program is gaining national recognition because of the excellence of our junior competitors. They are not only winning at home, but also on the national stage. Our juniors represented MRPC well at the recent 2026 Camp Perry HP National Match Warm-Up Matches.
