Members Only Couples Shoot
Fun. Relaxed. Just for MRPC Members.
Join us for a fun, low-pressure match designed for MRPC members and their significant others. 
Whether your partner wants to shoot or just hang out, they’re welcome—as long as they attend with you so we can all enjoy the evening together.
Bring your wife, partner, or daughter. If she doesn’t want to shoot, no problem—we’ll pair you with another participant for the match.
Match Schedule:
- 4th Friday evening of each month, April through September
- Setup starts at 5:00 pm
- Hammer down at 6:00 pm
- Round court will be around 60
- Pre-registration required so we have enough food for everyone
Match Format:
- Firearms: .22 LR pistols or rifles only
- All skill levels welcome—from beginner to expert
- You must be familiar with how to safely operate your firearm
- Great for those new to shooting matches
- 3 steel stages, inspired by Wednesday Morning Steel
- Stages feature pink and blue plates for her and him
- Two shooting boxes: one for her, one for him
- She shoots first, then he shoots as soon as she finishes
- Times are scored as a team, but the focus is on fun—timing may not even be recorded
Cookout Social:
After the match, join us in the picnic area for a casual cookout. It’s a great chance to relax and socialize with fellow members.
Cost:
- $15 per couple for the cookout
Safety Rules:
- Eye and ear protection required for all shooters and spectators
- MRPC is a cold range – no loaded firearms allowed outside of active stages
- No firearm handling unless instructed by the Match Director or Range Safety Officer
- Only shooters actively participating may load their firearm, under direct Range Safety Officer supervision
- All shooting starts from low ready, muzzle on the table
- No drawing from a holster at this event
Spectators are welcome and must follow all safety rules.
