Dynamic Precision Rifle (DPR)
DPR is a scaled-down version of the more common centerfire Precision Rifle Series using 22LR rimfire rifles instead of the traditional centerfire cartridges.
The Dynamic Precision Rifle matches started at MRPC in July of 2024 and mirror some of the national affiliated leagues like NRL22, MARS, and PRS Rimfire Series.
The MRPC match requires a bolt action 22LR rifle firing subsonic 22LR ammunition. We shoot multiple steel targets from a variety of different barricades and positions.
Target distances vary by match and stage. Ranging from 50 yards to 175 yards.
Our match is specifically designed to be accessible to new shooters interested in learning and growing their skillset. But it’s also a great training ground for more experienced shooters looking to get some additional match training.
Right now, the DPR only has one division, Open Class. But as the match grows we will add divisions for Base Class, Semi-Auto, and possibly even Seniors.
The DPR match takes place year-round on the third Sunday of each month.
